An Orchid, a Treasure
Vanilla is the fruit of an orchid, Vanilla planifolia. Its flower opens only once, for just a few hours. In SAVA, each one is pollinated by hand, then the pod ripens on the vine for nearly nine months. Every harvest gives rise to a new vintage.
Black Vanilla Gourmet
The black gold of gastronomy
Our grade A, non-split. A 14–20 cm bean, very dark, plump, supple and glossy, its heart rich in seeds. Its powerful fragrance blends creamy, chocolate and balsamic notes with a hint of caramel. The ultimate ingredient for fine pastry and gastronomy.
TK Vanilla - Prima
The perfect balance of suppleness and intensity
Less oily than black vanilla yet more supple than red, TK is recognisable by its chocolate-brown skin and the copper streaks at its tips. Its soft, woody aroma with lingering chocolate notes stays consistent from lot to lot. The all-round vanilla par excellence.
Red Vanilla US/EU
The essential choice for extracts and infusions
Drier than Gourmet, red vanilla has a reddish-brown skin and a rawer, woody, concentrated aroma with high yield. The US type, dry and rigid, is made for extraction; the EU type, semi-dry and slightly flexible, meets European standards. Ideal for extracts and infusions.
Vanilla Cuts
The essence of vanilla, in its most authentic form
Pieces of 6–11 cm, selected for their aromatic richness. Their looks vary, but their Bourbon profile is unmistakable: soft, woody and floral, with indulgent caramel and cocoa notes. A generous, cost-effective choice for extracts, infusions and food applications.
Vanilla Powder
All the intensity of vanilla in a pinch
Our finely ground beans, 100% pure, with no additives or maltodextrin. This very concentrated brown-black powder reveals woody, soft and cocoa notes. Easy to dose, it suits pastries, drinks and gastronomic creations.
